• Circular needles size 4.5 mm (40 cm and 80 cm)

Additional tools: stitch markers, measuring tape, scissors, needles for weaving in ends, stitch holder/scrap yarn.
Gauge: 18 stitches x 24 rounds = 10 x 10 cm on 4.5 mm needles.
Always check your gauge and adjust needle size if necessary.
Use smaller needles if you have too few stitches per 10 cm, or larger needles if you have too many stitches.
Method and Construction:
The body and sleeves are knitted in the round. The body is started at the bottom, and the sleeves are joined to the body at the underarm to knit the yoke in the round. The beginning of the round for the yoke is at the back left where the body and sleeves join.

After casting on for the body and sleeves, join in the round and knit one round in stockinette before starting the ribbing. The sweater is fitted with decreases and increases at the sides. When there are 3 stitches before a marker at the sides, knit two stitches together by inserting the needle from the back so that the first stitch falls over the second one. Knit one stitch and then knit two stitches together.
